SimoneLipscomb (3)Simone is a storyteller and artist. She uses her skills as an underwater and nature photographer, writer and educator to raise awareness of our ocean planet.

Her intention is to help humans reconnect with nature to gain understanding and appreciation for the interconnectedness of all life. A close relationship with nature has cultivated a deep, abiding love within her for all things wild.

Simone has worked as a facilitator for raising awareness and consciousness as a state park naturalist, psychotherapist, massage and bodywork therapist, community college instructor, scuba instructor, shamanic facilitator, and drum circle leader.

Currently she focuses her energy on writing, nature and underwater photography, and working with those wishing to deepen their connection and relationship with nature.

Her undergraduate degree is in Outdoor Recreation with a minor in Resource Management from Auburn University and her master’s degree in Counselor Education was earned at Auburn University in Montgomery (AUM). Simone is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (retired). She is a Reiki Master/Teacher and Polarity Therapy instructor.

Simone enjoys open water diving and cave diving as well as stand up paddle boarding, hiking, and cycling. She volunteers with sea turtle and manatee programs.
