SimoneLipscomb (3)Simone gives voice to the planet’s ancient grandmother wisdom through writing, photography, speaking engagements and group facilitation. She is an intuitive and teacher of emotional and spiritual awareness and weaves her skills as a storyteller, psychotherapist, and artist into a web of light that creates a beautiful space for healing.

As a lover of our beautiful water planet her intention is to help humans reconnect with nature through their hearts. A close relationship with nature has cultivated a deep, abiding love within her for all things wild–she is a voice for those that have no voice.

Simone has worked as a facilitator for raising awareness and consciousness as a state park naturalist, psychotherapist, massage and bodywork therapist, community college instructor, scuba instructor, shamanic facilitator, and women’s group leader.

Currently she focuses her energy on writing, nature and underwater photography, and working with those wishing to deepen their connection and relationship with nature. Her intention is to help restore balance with our planet.

Her undergraduate degree is in Outdoor Recreation with a minor in Resource Management from Auburn University and her master’s degree in Counselor Education was earned at Auburn University in Montgomery (AUM). Simone is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (retired). She is a Reiki Master/Teacher and Polarity Therapy instructor.

In her journey Simone has explored and studied different paths including Christianity, Celtic and Native American Traditions, Shamanism, Buddhism, and the Western Mystery Tradition. She is an ordained minister through Awakening Spirit Ministries.

Simone enjoys open water diving and cave diving as well as stand up paddle boarding, hiking, and cycling. She volunteers with Alabama’s sea turtle program, Share the Beach,   Alabama Manatee Stranding Network and is a board member for Wolf Bay Watershed Watch.
